Product Description
Fresh 9x16 Roaster (3-5 lb) Poultry Shrink Bags.
These new FRESH shrink bags allow for a longer shelf life.
The Fresh shrink bags are made for farm to market style processors. You can leave a bird in these bags (refrigerated) for up to six days before freezing them. This allows you to kill on Tuesday and take them to the market (Fresh) on Saturday. Or if you don’t sell all of them at market you can freeze them afterward. Through natural decomposition the bird produces gasses. The gasses are not able to escape regular shrink bags, which can cause the meat to spoil if not frozen within 24 hrs. The fresh bag has a different micron barrier that allows these gasses to pass through the bag keeping the bird fresh for up to the six day period. On the sixth day you could freeze the bird and still not have a problem.
Same clear beautiful presentation as our traditional bags. Great way to save freezer space.

We have messed with other bags (freezer bags, vacuum bags, zip lock bags) for a few years and not been satisfied. You can produce the best chicken around but if it doesn't look good people turn there nose up at it. These shrink bags work great and look even better. Thanks

We've used these bags for years. They're easy to use and our chickens stay fresh, without freezer burn, for months and months. We usually finish up our last frozen chicken just before the next year's flock is ready for processing, and that last chicken is just as fresh as the first!

I did like how they give a little when loading the birds into them. A little lighter than the Vector 80's but quite usable.

We ordered the 9x16 bags for our 13 week old Black Freedom Ranger Broilers. These birds grow to outstanding size. A few weighed in at over 6 pounds. Bags were tight on those birds. However, they worked well with a little effort. The bags are thick and tough; great product! Thank you Cornerstone for providing these high quality shrink bags.
