The Featherman PRO

The Featherman Turkey Plucker

Simply scald turkeys, then drop up to 75lbs of birds into the tub. In 20 seconds or less the birds will be picked clean. No pin feathers, no backache.
This plucker features 203 fingers. Will easily hold 3-4, 15-20 lbs. turkeys or 6-8 broilers. Same great features as the Featherman Pro!

Quail/Gamebird Plucker

Identical to the PRO except the Gamebird is packed with 300 fingers, spaced tightly together to prevent the smallest birds from lodging between them. Quail, dove, and squab all pick beautifully with the Featherman Gamebird. The soft fingers are gentler on smaller, thin-skinned and gun-shot birds. Great for chickens and turkeys too.
Since it can also pluck large birds like pheasant and turkey, this is the ideal machine for hunters and hunt clubs.

Non Electric Poultry Plucker

For locations without access to electricity the Featherman Non-electric is the answer. It has the same tub and housing and same finger placements as our electric models. It still has the 10:1 speed reducer but the power is supplied by a gas or air motor and pulley (not supplied) mounted outside the unit. Feather chute and spray ring are still standard. (Our electric models spin at 175 RPM and we recommend sizing motor and pulleys on the Non-electric to come as close to that as possible for a gentle pick (if you need help sizing pulleys please call). Add $100 for Quail finger configuration.

The Featherman Scalder

The goal: No pin feathers. Period.

This only happens with a perfect scald. The Featherman Scalder holds a constant water temperature to help you achieve that perfect scald.

Made of stainless steel with around a 40,000 BTU propane burner, temperature control within a five degree range, and sized for four birds at a time (40 gallon), the Featherman Scalder delivers maximum performance at a minimum price. Drain valve, full protective rim, side-mounted chimney and cover tarp are all standard features. One year complete warranty.

Dunker Attachment

The Featherman Manual Dunker makes easy work of dipping your poultry to get a thorough, even scald. The up-and-down action aids water penetration to loosen feathers. The unit mounts on the Featherman scalder in about 5 seconds, locking into place. No tools are required. The dunking arm also pivots from left to right making loading and unloading birds easy. Heavy, adjustable springs allow any load of poultry to be neutrally balanced for effortless dunking. Made of powder coated, mild steel. The Featherman shackles are made of stainless steel and hold up to five birds of all sizes. The shackles hooks into the Featherman Manual Dunker.
