Herbicides

Fertrell has always believed that a healthy plant is resistant to insects and fungi, and a well balanced soil is resistant to weed proliferation. There are times when conditions are so adverse that herbicides have to be used. Fertrell is offering herbicides that are either considered organic, or if not organic, the least harmful to soil life, to assist in producing a bountiful crop that is safe for human and animal consumption.

Weed Control

WeedBan is the fIrst practical organic weed control on the market; made from a byproduct of corn syrup production, it works by stopping the development of the secondary feeder roots causing the seedling to die. This is a preemergent product. It is effective against dandelions, crabgrass, creeping bent grass, foxtail, lambsquarter, purslane, redroot pigweed, smart weed, barnyard grass and bermuda grass.
