This page will help you determine what size equipment you will need for the birds per hour you wish to process.

Basic 200 Birds Per Hour

These are our most basic packages. The number of birds that can be done is based on the amount of labor available. 3 experienced people can do 60 birds per hour. 7 experienced people can do approximately 200 birds per hour. The basic equipment will do up to 100 birds per hour. Optional equipment will allow the operator to process 350-500 birds per hour. The bird per hour numbers are based on 4-5 pound live weight birds and is contingent on appropriate manpower on the processing line. The average person can process 15-20 birds per hour.

Equipment For 350 Birds Per Hour

Suggested equipment for a poultry processing plant to process a volume of approximately 350 Birds per hour. This is based on a scalding temperature of 142-145 degrees Fahrenheit, on average size chickens.
