Pro Scalder... $1225.00
The Featherman poultry scalder. This unit is a manual
poultry scalder unit that will scald up
to 4 birds at a time. You have to dunk the birds by hand but for a small
processor this will work well. The unit has a reinforcing lip all around the
top (which makes it more rigid and provides more of a barrier against an
accidental body rub) and, the tarp which keeps it clean between uses and
helps insulate during the initial heating. This unit can also be used for heating duck wax. It is
available in both propane and natural gas models
Made of stainless steel
with a 30,000 BTU propane burner, temperature control within a five degree
range, and sized for four birds at a time (40 gallon). The Featherman
Scalder delivers maximum performance at a minimum price. Drain valve, full
protective rim and cover tarp are all standard features. One year complete
warranty.

The
Featherman PRO is made of high density, food grade plastic for years of rugged
use. Standard features include the spray ring, feather exhaust chute, and
a knee-high toggle on/off switch.
The drive train is powered
by a 1 hp motor mated to a 10:1 speed reducer for an effective 10 hp of torque.
The PRO handles birds from 3 to 30 pounds.
Simply drop up to 30 pounds of
scalded birds into the tub and let the Featherman do the work. In 20 to 30
seconds birds are squeaky clean! No pin feathers remain.
The Featherman has a 22" tub diameter, stands 36" high and has a 17
1/2" by 24"
footprint. It uses a 1 hp motor and 10:1 speed reducer (both U.S. Made) giving
an effective strength of 10 hp. The tub and motor housing are constructed of
tough, UV-stabilized, food-grade plastic. Standard features include spray ring,
feather chute and easy-access waterproof switch.
We use the softest fingers in the industry for a gentle,
forgiving pick. The PRO has 119 fingers.

The Featherman Manual
Dunker makes easy work of dipping your poultry to get a thorough, even
scald. The up-and-down action aids water penetration to loosen feathers. The
unit mounts on the Featherman scalder in about 5 seconds, locking into
place. No tools are required. The dunking arm also pivots from left to right
making loading and unloading birds easy. Heavy, adjustable springs allow any
load of poultry to be neutrally balanced for effortless dunking. Made of
powder coated, mild steel. The Featherman shackles are made of stainless
steel and hold up to five birds of all sizes. The shackles hooks into the
Featherman Manual Dunker.

Featherman Quail model is the only automatic plucker built to pluck the

Non Electric Poultry Picker...

For
our friends who don't use electricity we offer this model powered by
either air or gas motor (not supplied). Simply add your motor and
belt. A 10:1 speed reducer is standard as are spray ring and feather
chute. Add $100 for Quail finger configuration.
